At-Risk Program
The program for AT-Risk students at UW Fox Valley maintains requirements for students who are:
1) required to take the LEA 102 course,
2) admitted with deficiencies, or
3) in academic standing Final Probation.
- Students who are in academic status “final probation” for any term are required to participate in the Student Success Program. This program is designed to return the student to good academic standing.
- All students in the at-risk program have a service indicator (hold) placed on their PRISM record. This requires them to meet with the at-risk coordinator or designee prior to adding or dropping classes.

Procedure
- Students are notified by letter at the beginning of each term.
- Attendance at large group meeting early in the semester is mandatory.
- Students select strategies they will use to succeed and a plan for success contract is developed.
- Students are required to attend a minimum of one individual meeting with at-risk coordinator.
- The plan for success contract discussed, changed as needed and agreed upon by student and coordinator. Students provide coordinator with mid-term grades.
- The student implements tthe success plan.
- The coordinator meets with students again as needed.
Note:
Students with academic deficiencies who are admitted to UW Fox Valley may be required to enroll in the LEA 102 Course and other developmental classes.
