Why should a public institution receive private support for its facilities?
Simply stated, government is no longer willing to bear the entire costs of our public campuses. They have come to expect help. $50 million gifts happen at some of our major universities, and BILLION dollar campaigns are taking place across the nation. By comparison with other capital campaigns ours is relatively modest, but for us, it's monumental.
Consider what this facility means to the next several decades of Fox students, and the significance for many community-wide organizations as well. The new UWFox Communication Arts Center will have a monumental impact on the quality of the educational experience for our students and the viewing experience for our audiences.
How you can help?
While gifts of any amount are appreciated and will help in reaching our goal, there are numerous opportunities to recognize and honor an esteemed corporate or family name or loved one in perpetuity.
Gifts spread over several years are welcome.
