University of Wisconsin–Fox Valley

Background grid

Since 1933, the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley has helped tens of thousands of individuals in our community achieve their goals and realize their dreams of obtaining a college degree. Dr. James Perry, Campus ExecutiveRecognizing that many aspiring to obtain a bachelor’s degree are bound to home by family, job or finances, the college was created to provide access to higher education for local students at much reduced costs.

The campus serves a diverse student body comprised of all socioeconomic levels and cultural backgrounds. With a focus on the first two years – the most important years – of a bachelor’s degree program, UWFox is one of the premiere liberal arts campuses in the state. Because UWFox is within a short driving distance of many northeastern Wisconsin rural communities and is affordable, it serves as a point of access to the world renowned University of Wisconsin System. We proudly serve many first-generation college students.

Thirty-five percent of our students are returning adults fulfilling their dreams of attaining a college education. Our academic programs focus on the liberal arts general education and pre-professional requirements necessary for a bachelor’s degree. Each semester about 1700 students are served by outstanding and dedicated faculty and staff. A strong curriculum, small classes that
provide opportunities for student-faculty interactions and abundant co-curricular activities are hallmarks of UWFox and provide a solid foundation for success in future academics and careers.
Our Foundation provides nearly 100 scholarships annually for needy students who qualify for financial aid. More recently, UWFox has begun offering on-campus bachelor’s degrees in collaboration with other UW campuses, providing further educational opportunities for Fox Valley residents.
