Bacteriology and Genetics Lab
Bac/Gen lab is a roomy laboratory where students work together at the three student benches to improve their understanding of bacteriology or genetics. Instructional quality is enhanced by wireless laptop computers, a video/data projector, modern microscopes, and more. Specialized lab equipment includes equipment used for studying DNA such as PCR thermocyclers and gel electrophoresis equipment. This laboratory is also used by highly motivated biology students doing independent research projects with an advisor.
