Step Three: PPST and PRAXIS II Exams
- The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) requires individuals applying for admission to a Wisconsin professional educator preparation program must complete and pass the Praxis I - Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST) in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics.
- Additionally, the Wisconsin DPI requires all individuals applying for an initial license after August 2004 must complete the Praxis II content exam for their area of licensure. UW Oshkosh requires passing scores on the Praxis II content exam.
