The Fox Cry Review is the UW-Fox Valley's official literary magazine. Published annually since 1974, it is one of the longest running literary magazines of any two-year college in the nation. Submissions are accepted from September 1 - February 1 and may be sent to the 2011 editor:

August Derleth Creative Writing Contest
- Open to any UW Colleges student
- Award: $250
Any UW Colleges student enrolled in six credits or more is eligible. Submissions must consist of 1-5 works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and/or drama, not totaling more than 15 pages, typed and double-spaced (poetry can be single-spaced). Include a cover sheet with your name and address. Please do not put your name or other identifying mark on the other pages, so the work can be judged anonymously. (Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want your materials returned to you.) No creative work previously published off campus is eligible for consideration. Entries must be postmarked by the spring due date. For more details, consult the UWC English Department Web site.
