Scholarship award decisions are based on academic performance, the quality and content of the written essay, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Scholarships, sponsored through the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley Foundation, Inc., vary from partial to full-tuition. Some awards are renewable.

Who should apply for UW-Fox Valley scholarships?

All degree-seeking-seeking students who have demonstrated academic achievement or can demonstrate academic promise. This includes high school seniors, continuing students, adult students and transfer students.

What are the Criteria for UW-Fox Valley Scholarships?

  • Most scholarships require full-time enrollment, a few allow for part-time enrollment
  • All scholarships require demonstrated academic achievement
  • A few scholarships require financial need demonstrated through the federal financial aid process
  • Most scholarships require enrollment at UW-Fox Valley for both semesters of award year. There are some departing awards sponsored by four-year institutions or Alumni groups of the institutions. These scholarships are for students transferring to the following schools as juniors: Lawrence University, University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, University of Wisconsin- Madison, and University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. A few scholarships allow for departing students without regard to transfer school.

How to Apply for UW-Fox Valley Scholarships?

  • You must be admitted to UW-Fox Valley before you will be considered for UW-Fox Valley scholarships (New students only).
  • Complete a UW-Fox Valley scholarship application and make 8 copies of it.
  • Provide a copy of your academic transcript (Continuing and Transfer students).

Please note: Incomplete scholarship applications or applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for UW-Fox Valley scholarships.
