Toward Community: Unity in Diversity

Toward Community (TC) is a volunteer not-for-profit group that ensures the Fox Cities are welcoming to people of diverse backgrounds. The group plans several multicultural events each year such as Diversity Picnic, Foods of All Nations, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Interdenominational Service.

The Hmong/American Partnership

Located less than a mile from UWFox, the Hmong American Partnership Fox Valley Inc. (HAP) is a non-profit organization working to provide opportunity, service, and partnerships to help the Fox River Valley’s Hmong integrate into society’s mainstream and reach their full potential.

African Heritage, Inc.

African Heritage, Inc. provides a medium for educational and cultural exchange between Africans, people of African descent, and all people who have an interest in African issues. The organization promotes clear and positive African images, provides volunteer services to the community, and fosters better relations between community members, local leadership, and both governmental and non-governmental agencies.

American Indian Services of the Fox Valley

The American Indian Center is a “gathering place” for Native Americans. It offers information, referral, education, advocacy, and enrichment activities that reflect and embrace their cultural and tribal values.

Casa Hispana

Casa Hispana is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a bilingual center for information, referral, support, advocacy, Education and celebration to advance the economic, social and cultural position of the Hispanic/Latino community in the Fox Valley and surrounding communities. IndUS (Indians in the United States)

IndUS of Fox Valley is dedicated to promoting Indo-American friendship and goodwill by serving the community through social, cultural, educational and charitable activities.

Northeast Wisconsin Chinese Association

The Northeast Wisconsin Chinese Association serves as a connecting point for all members of the Association and those who have a genuine interest in the Chinese people, heritage, and culture. The organization serves and supports the local Chinese population and its friends in northeast Wisconsin. It also strives to promote cultural exchange and build mutual trust and respect within the community.

Harmony Café

Harmony Café is a safe, respectful, peaceful, and intentionally welcoming environment that allows all people to interact in a positive, healthy way. Harmony shows special appreciation for those whose abilities, beliefs, experiences, or identities can lead them to feel unsafe or unwelcome in our community.
