UW-Fox Valley Club Baseball
UWFox Club Baseball 2012 Season Review
The 2012 baseball season was a big step up from the from the 2011 season. The team finished the season at 2-3-1, but had to cancel 3 more games due to weather. The team recorded their first win against a school outside the UW Colleges.
With a split against Ripon College JV and a tie at Marian University, it showed how the Cyclones team was up and coming.
The team was led by Michael Boushley on the mound and Matt Howard at the plate. Michael Boushley had 45 strikeouts over 24 innings, with a 1-2 record. Michael has around 90 strikeouts over the past two years with the program. Michael is on his way to play at UW Platteville next year. Matt Howard led the team with a .385 batting average, mainly from the lead-off spot. He was also our main reliever on the mound.
The UW Fox Valley Cyclones club baseball team is looking to improve next season, along with trying to schedule and play more games next season.
