Head Men’s Volleyball Coach – Jason Grube

Head men’s volleyball coach, Jason Grube, is an US Army Veteran and current Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldier who recently returned from Iraq. He is currently a student at UW-Fox Valley, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.

While this was his first year coaching, he is very familiar with the game of volleyball. He started playing when he was 12 and has 17 years experience in playing both indoor and beach volleyball. He first started playing for fun and then played in summer tournaments until he reached college where he started playing on organized club teams.

His first 2 years at UW-Fox Valley, he started as the strong side hitter and was co-captain of the team. He then transferred to UW-Oshkosh for a year. After that he played in several recreation leagues, winning many league championships.

He enjoys working with the new players, and the challenge that coaching presents after playing for so long. He’s excited and committed to helping build a strong, competitive and fun men’s volleyball program here at UW-Fox Valley.
