Wil KrautkramerCoach Wil Krautkramer

Coach Wil Krautkramer is a native to Menasha.  He began his soccer career at the age of 5 playing for numerous local club teams (red teams-as they were called back then).  His skills were aided by the exceptional coaching of Pedro Briones.  As a Menasha Blue Jay he competed in the “tough” Fox Valley Association Conference, and was a three year Varsity letter winner under legendary coach Jim Nash.  As a senior, Wil garnered First-Team All-Conference honors and helped the Jays to an undefeated conference championship that same year (‘95).  He left Menasha with a tally sheet that showed 29 assists.  His playing career continued at UW Fox-Valley and finished at UW Oshkosh due to injury.  He continues to play locally, when he can find the time.

Coach Krautkramer graduated Magna Cum Laude from UW Oshkosh, with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Education (2001).  He is currently working toward his Master’s degree (Cardinal Stritch).  He also intends on earning his D license for coaching in the spring.

Krautkramer brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience to UW Fox Valley.  In his first year as Head coach at UW Fox-Valley, Coach Krautkramer helped lead a talented group of student athletes to an undefeated Conference and State championship. In addition, he has coached at levels ranging from u-8 club level, through u-23 club level (D-1 players).  His recent stops as a coach have been at Appleton East (Freshman), Appleton West (JV/Varsity Assistant), and Menasha (Varsity).  He also created a summer soccer program (Menasha School District) that helps teach area elementary students the basics of the game.  These vastly different experiences have produced a coach who is solid in the fundamentals and tactics of the game.  Coach K’s flexible formations, detailed game plans, and creative practices are a direct result of these experiences.

Wil resides in Menasha with his lovely wife Lisa and their exceptional Labrador, Beckette Osbourne.  He teaches Language Arts and Social Studies at the local middle school.  His passion continues to be education and teaching the beautiful game!  Coach K’s motto is: “Love the work, and prepare for the success that is tomorrow!”
