Women’s Volleyball
2008 Season
The UW Fox Valley women’s volleyball team is gearing up for another competitive season. Following 2008’s trip to state, the Cyclones are working hard on the basics to improve their game. This season we have a group of hard working and determined athletes who are ready to step up to the challenge and compete at a great level of play.
“I’m excited about this season and I am curious how this group will develop,” Coach Natz stated. “What will determine our success is how well this group can work together, stay fit and healthy, and continue to improve throughout the season.”
The Cyclones return only two starters from last year’s squad, setter Ashley Secor (Kaukauna) and outside hitter Maribeth Schneider (Waupaca).
The team welcomes Kelsey Christie (Kimberly), Lydia Hanson (Kaukauna), Cassi Haumschild (Wautoma), Laruen Hubatch (Marian), Sam Malkowski (Appleton West), Katie Miller (Brillion), and Rachael Pethke (New London).
The Cyclones open their 2009 season when they play Fox Valley Technical College on September 2nd.
