Laser Shows
All laser shows feature state-of-the-art laser graphics, 3-D virtual reality excitement and 5-channel, 10,000 watts of surround sound! Laser images "interpret" the music, and our laserist manipulates the images, colors and laser effects and 3-D virtual reality effects to make each show a memorable and unique experience appropriate for all ages.
Narrated by the "Science Guy", Bill Nye, this is a humorous laser
music/special effects program about science, history, and our cultural
perceptions of time. From "Y zero K Bug" to the Palola-worm method of
timekeeping in the Trobrian islands, the program focuses on our different
views and scientific understanding of time

real party! This show features the best party musc from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s
combined with exciting laser animation and Digistar’s 3-D virtual reality
effects. Don’t forget to bring your party hat!
We also have astronomy shows and rock laser shows on the schedule. There is something for everyone at the Barlow Planetarium, where we present shows to the public throughout the year.
