Essay Contest for Free Tuition for College
One Contest Winner Will Receive
- Full-time tuition for one semester at the University of Wisconsin Fox Valley (UWFox)
- $100 tuition deposit
- $188 in student and admission fees
- $200 gift certificate from UWFox Student Association for UWFox Book Store
- Career Counseling session with UWFox Student Services Advisor
- Financial Aid Session with UWFox Financial Aid Specialist
Five Finalists Will Receive
- UWFox Shirt
- Choice of UWFox tickets to the Barlow Planetarium, Weis Earth Science Museum or Communication Arts Center performance
Eligibility Criteria
- High school diploma or GED/HSED as of June 15, 2009
- If under 18 years of age parent’s permission required
- Earned less than 15 college credits
- UWFox employees or their immediate family members are not eligible
Contest Entry Requirements
- Submit essay of 500 words or less explaining how your life will be changed with this makeover
- Include a high school transcript with essay (unofficial is acceptable)
- One entry per person
- Prizes are not transferable
- Prizes must be used by contest winner for fall 2009 for courses at UWFox
