Title: Dance Team Coach
The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is accepting applications for a Dance Team Coach for the 2014-15 academic year. This is a fixed term appointment with duties extending from approximately October through May, 2015.
GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate recruitment, scheduling, choreography and fundraising for the Cyclone Dance Team. This person shall, in coordination with the Student Activities Coordinator, have final approval of all costumes and uniforms for the Dance Team and coordinate the purchasing of any new or additional uniforms. The person in this position shall also be responsible for coordinating all trips to competitions for the Dance Team and supervising of all Dance Team fundraising. The Dance Team is expected to perform at halftime of the men’s home basketball games and selected women’s home games as well as noon performances in the Student Union for the Halloween Contest in October and the Holiday Celebration in December. You are required to submit a monthly report of Dance Team activities to the Student Activities Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Student Activities Coordinator. Appointments are contingent on sufficient enrollment and funding as determined by the Student Activities Coordinator.
Required Qualification: Strong background in dance team choreography.
Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory and managerial skills.
Lump sum $1500.
