FOX Music Lecturer Wanted
Responsibilities
The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley (Menasha, WI) is searching for a Music Lecturer to teach the below-listed course for the spring 2013 semesters. Lecturers prepare course syllabi, teach courses, and hold office hours for students. The fall contract begins August 27. Spring classes start January 25 with final exams May 16-21.
(Spring) MUS 278 History of Rock and Roll
(Tu/Th 10:50 AM - 12:05 PM) FTE 16%
Course description: A study of Rock and Roll with emphasis on the roots, origins and influential figures in the history of this cultural phenomenon. Includes recorded listening experiences.

Voice Lessons
We are also looking for someone skilled and experienced in vocal instruction to provide voice lessons to students for music majors who list voice as their major, which ties in well with the chorus class but can also be filled separately. Additional compensation for voice lessons is typically $20 per lesson for 14 one-half hour lessons, per student - typically 1 to 3 students per semester.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in the discipline or a closely related field required. Previous post-secondary teaching experience is desirable. Practical experience with the specific topics of the course is also beneficial.
