If you or someone close to you feels in intense emotional distress and need immediate help take it seriously and take action now!

Pick up the phone and call one of these resources according to the emergency:

  • If you feel suicidal, pick up your phone now and call 911 or your local police to be taken to the Emergency Room
  • Ask someone to take you to the nearest ER.

2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects people with important211community services and volunteer opportunities. United Way 2-1-1 provides callers with referrals to human services for every day needs and in times of crisis.  The 2-1-1 call center can help with questions about basic needs, physical and medical health resources and employment supports such as financial and transportation assistance.  United Way 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service, offering bilingual, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, multi-lingual capabilities.
