UW Colleges Online Courses
Everything you need to know regarding UW Colleges online courses is available at UWC Online. It is your responsibility to access this resource for specific information including all course schedules, deadlines, and payment information.
Registration
You will register for UWC Online courses through UW Colleges PRISM self service system just as you do for your on-campus courses. Please note that UWC Online has different registration dates and requirements than UWC campuses.
Tuition
UWC Online course tuition, fees, payment requirements, and payment schedules differ from all other UWC campus requirements. Additionally, an administrative/technology fee is charged for each online course. This fee is refundable through the last day of online registration. Your seat in the course is not secure until your online tuition is paid in full, or if you are a UWC degree seeking student, until UW Colleges confirms that you have adequate financial aid to cover your online tuition in full. If you fail to meet this requirement, you will be removed from your course(s) when the course is full or at the close of online registration. Check UWC Online for tuition postings and accurate payment information. You will NOT receive an invoice; please follow payment instructions carefully.
Once the semester begins, UWC Online tuition is refundable according to the institution-wide UWC tuition refund policy and calendar.
Dropping Courses
UWC Online courses do not follow an add/drop schedule. Once registration closes, students may drop but not add. Once the semester begins, UWC Online follows the institution-wide UWC drop policy and calendar. Complete information is available at UWC Online. Please note that non-participation does not constitute a drop for online courses. You must complete the drop process.
