PAST EVENTS

POETS (Pig Out Eaters & Tasters Society) is a group of Fox faculty/staff who meet about once a month to enjoy the variety of restaurants, especially ethnic food, available in the Fox Cities area. No, POETS is not a reading group. (Although some may consider books a spiritual food.) We just enjoy eating and love to meet co-workers after hours.

Year 2003-2004 we met at the following restaurants:

Our first fall POETS event was held at Bao Ju Mandarin Gourmet in Neenah, Wisconsin. There were 23 POETS showed up at this small restaurant. Some POETS would like to share their thoughts and comments about their food and the restaurnat.

In February, the Nakashima's Japen opened up everyone's eyes - it's a whole new experience of cooking. (More...)
In March, during the spring break, we met at Steve's apartment first then ate the dinner at Wilbur's Blacken Blue in downtown Appleton. (More...)
In April, we went to Los Compadres in Appleton.
In May, Apolon was the choice.
