Photo GalleryThe photo gallery contains pictures of Jai Singh's astronomical instruments in Delhi, Jaipur, Ujjain and Varanasi taken by V.N. Sharma. The majority of the photos are of the Jaipur observatory which contains 41 instruments, as opposed to six instruments at the Delhi observatory and seven instruments at both the Ujjain and Varanasi observatories. No traces of the Mathura observatory remain today. The buildings of the Mathura observatory were torn down just before 1857.
