I work for TCF Bank. I’ve worked for them for about 16 years now. I um.. what I do for them, I’m the regional manager vice president for them. Years ago, when I started going I went to the UW actually in the Wausau area. I went there and some personal things happened in my life that took away from me having to be able to go to school, so I took the direction of the where life kind of, life happened if you will. I started looking for “what can I do with my education, to further my education, to help me with the job I’m at?” I started calling around and checking out different programs, different schools. And this one when they offered the accelerated program it just seemed to fit into my work schedule, time-wise once a week, vs. meeting twice a week for 15 weeks and it just fit and it’s worked out real well so far. See my encouragement to anybody thinking about this program is don’t make the mistake I did. I procrastinated and thought about well should I do it, and then I thought of all the excuses in the world not to do something like this, and finally I thought ‘Enough of that. Let’s just move forward and get this thing done and press into it.” And I am so glad that I did, and for the feeling of accomplishment, and there’s a sense of pride and it’s like “I’m doing it.”
