Start The Countdown To Summer

Get your summer off the ground at the Barlow Planetarium. Spend one week NASA Space Shuttleor four at the Wisconsin Space Academy. In each session, you build and customize your own rocket, explore secrets of the night sky, and create your very own planetarium show in the Barlow’s world-class dome.

Start in Level One, where you master basic rocketry and observing skills, then advance to more complex rockets and astronomy in Levels Two and Three. Level Four offers the ultimate challenge: build and launch a rocket that you design!

Space science is exciting and fun! Join our week-long camp, and you’ll see how physics, math and astronomy can help you defy gravity and aim for the stars!

Dig Into Summer Fun

Geology. It’s all around us, and it affects just about everything you can think of—from weather to the water and food we drink and eat, to the houses we live in and the roads we drive on, to the fuel that powers our cars, to making all the many other products that we use in society.

Not only is geology important to our everyday lives— it’s exciting! It’s Volcanovolcanoes, earthquakes, dinosaurs...and so much more. And it’s a great way to learn science concepts and skills.

Sign up for the week-long Wisconsin Earth Adventure at the Weis Earth Science Museum and begin your exploration of Planet Earth. As an Earth Explorer, you will learn about the forces that have shaped and re-shaped our world through fun and educational hands-on activities.
