Summer Opportunities for Youth Enrichment at UW-Fox Valley

The Office of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley has numerous educational opportunities for young residents of the Fox Cities.
"College for Kids" takes place on the UWFox campus from July 9 through July 13, with daily sessions running 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. A wide range of classes are available. Class options range from art to writing to foreign language to science. The cost of $90 includes: two classes, snack, and all supplies. Students entering grades 3 through 6 are eligible to enroll in "College for Kids." Registration is required by June 22.
"Middle School University" runs July 23 through July 27. Sessions run from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. daily at the Menasha campus. The cost is $110. During the week participants have the opportunity to be involved in either two 1.5-hour class per day or one 3-hour class per day. The course offerings available include space exploration, writing, entrepreneurship, art, chess, math, environmental science, chemistry, writing and poetry. Registrations are due before June 29.
