The UW Fox English Department Announces the
Shirley B. Anders Creative Writing Scholarship
$300.00 Scholarship for original poems, fiction, or creative essay!
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be
- enrolled at UWFox,
- be carrying at least six credits, and
-
plan to be a college student in the fall.
Guidelines

Poetry
- Submit up to three unpublished poems
- Type each poem on a separate page

Include name, address, and phone number on each poem

Prose
- Submit short stories or creative essays
- Include name, address, and phone number on the first page

Include name and page number on succeeding pages
Important
- Mark your work as "student submission"
- Include a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope)
- Submissions must be dropped into the "campus mail" slot by March 1.
