The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is still accepting applications for fall. Transfer, re-entry, freshmen or special students who want to begin, or continue, working toward a degree or simply wish to try a college class are encouraged to apply now to enable them to attend one of the two remaining orientation and registration days scheduled yet this summer.
UWFox is one of 13 campuses of the UW Colleges, a division of the statewide University of Wisconsin System. The mission of the UW Colleges is to provide accessible, affordable and high quality freshman/sophomore level courses in more than 200 majors to local college students.
Upon earning an associate’s degree, students can transfer to a public or private four-year college or university to complete their bachelor’s degree. UWFox, in collaboration with several other UW System campuses, now offers two complete bachelor’s degrees programs. A Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Organizational Administration (UW-Oshkosh), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (UW-Platteville) are both available at the Menasha campus, located at 1478 Midway Road.
The campus boasts approximately 1,700 full and part-time students. Approximately one-third of the student population at UWFox is comprised of adult learners age 22 and older. The campus of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley also houses the world-class Barlow Planetarium and the Weis Earth Science Museum, the state’s official mineralogical museum.
Prospective applicants can contact the UWFox Student Services Office at 832-2620 to ask questions or to set up an appointment to meet with an academic advisor. Online applications are also available at https://www.apply.wisconsin.edu. For more information about UWFox, go to www.uwfox.uwc.edu.
