UWFox Re-schedules 'Fox Valley Concert Band Holiday Concert'

The Fox Valley Concert Band Holiday Concert originally scheduled for Saturday, December 11, has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Perry Hall within the Communication Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley. The concert is free and open to the public with unreserved seating. 

Kevin Nutini will be the guest soloist on clarinet, performing Carl von Weber’s Concertino.  Other works include Festival Prelude (Alfred Reed), Serenade (Derek Bourgeois), and Blue Shades by FrankTicheli, featuring Althea Rosenberg on clarinet.  Our marches for the evening will be Americans We by Henry Fillmore and Beethoven’s York’sher March.  The concert will conclude with Leroy AndersonsChristmas Festival.

The Fox Valley Concert Band is composed of university students, alumni and Fox Valley residents, and is under the direction of Dr. Marc Sackman, conductor and associate professor of music at UWFox. For more information about this event, contact Sackman at 832-2625 or email marc.sackman@uwc.edu.
