The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley’s Office of Continuing Education has made available its Fall 2010 course catalog both in the UWFox Continuing Education office, located on campus at 1478 Midway Road in Menasha, and online at http://www.uwfox.uwc.edu/conted/.

Course topics include Professional Development, Travel, Personal Finance, Well Being, Computer Applications and Creative Arts. “Everyone takes classes for different reasons. Some people take classes to make themselves more marketable, and others are looking more toward development on a personal level,” Program Assistant Carol Letter said.

Professional Development courses include Presentation Polish I and II. Prospective students interested in Travel have the opportunity to participate in trips to Washington, D.C. and New York City, among others.  Personal Finance courses include topics ranging from Retirement Planning, to Aging Parents, to Wills and Trusts. Computer Application courses are offered for programs such as Excel 2007 and Word 2007. Those interested in Creative Arts can choose from a variety of courses, including Books, Cards and Ornaments, and Audition Workshops for adults and children.

More detailed course descriptions are available in the catalog and online.
