Fox Cry Review Annual Reading at UW-Fox Valley

Fox Cry Review, the literary annual of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, is holding its annual reading on September 24, from noon to 1:00 p.m., in room #1138.

According to Laurel Mills (Fox Cry Review editor and English Lecturer at UWFox), many local writers are going to be reading their respective work that is published in this year's edition. Among the writers expected to attend are Ellen Kort (Wisconsin's Poet Laureate), Cathryn Cofell, Amelia Ann Cook, and Sherry Elmer.

This year's issue also features the artwork and writing of 19 UWFox students, including Stacey Beyer. Beyer's story earned her this year's "Shirley Anders Creative Writing Scholarship."

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments are being provided. Copies of this year's Fox Cry Review are being sold ($6.00 each), with a special price for students ($4.00). After September 24, the literary magazine is being made available through the UWFox campus bookstore.

The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is located at 1478 Midway Road, Menasha, between S. Oneida St. on the east, S. Appleton Road on the west, and just south of Hwy. #441.
