Fox Cry Review, the literary annual of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, is holding annual reading at noon on October 22 in the campus’ Fine Arts Theatre.
According to editor Laurel Mills of the UWFox English department, over a dozen writers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana will read their work from the magazine.
The featured reader will be Dr. Christian Knoeller, an award-winning poet from Purdue University. This year’s issue also showcases the artwork and writing of UWFox students, including Ryan Heraly whose short story earned him the UW Colleges’ Shirley Anders creative writing scholarship.
The 2007 Fox Cry Review reading is free and open to the public, with unreserved seating and free parking available. Refreshments will be served in a coffee-house style setting. Copies of the magazine will be for sale at $7.00, with a special price of $4.00 for UWFox students. After that date, the magazine will be available in the campus bookstore.
