Photo from Fox Rocks City of Menasha, WI – The Weis Earth Science Museum (WESM), located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, is sponsoring its highly popular "Fox Rocks! Show" on March 9 and 10. The annual "Fox Rocks! Show" is being staged in the campus' Union, as well as the nearby Emeritus Room and Atrium area. The show's hours are from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, March 9, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, March 10.

In addition to a number of dealers selling fossils, minerals, books and jewelry, the show will feature door prizes, displays, demonstrations including cabachon making and gemstone faceting, and a continuous silent auction with hundreds of items. There also will be free fun activities for children.

This is a fun, free family event to brighten the last days of winter. You'll find specimens at the show to please an established collector or inspire a hobby, and the jewelry is unique and affordable" said Joanne Kluessendorf, museum director. "It's a great place to get yourself a little treat after all that snow-shoveling you've had to do lately." Admission to the Weis Earth Science Museum is half-price during the show.

"Fox Rocks!" is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the WESM staff at 920-832-2925, or visit www.uwfox.uwc.edu or email garold.richards@uwc.edu.
