Jazz Concert Offered at UWFox

The public is invited to a jazz concert to be performed by the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley Jazz Ensemble on Sunday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in campus Fine Arts Theatre. Directed by Dr. Marc Sackman, the ensemble will play selections by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, George Gershwin, Milt Jackson, Joseph Kosma, Johnny Mercer and Herbie Hancock, among others. “Summertime” by George and Ira Gershwin, will feature vocals by Joshua Fetzter.

UWFox students comprising the Jazz Ensemble are Michael Bouchette (trumpet), Matthew Busse (alto sax), Brianne Faris ((alto sax, piano), Jeremy Frey (euphonium), Joshua Fetzer (drums, vocals), Paul Hietpas (baritone sax), Jake Madson (drums), Erik Meyer (tenor sax), Matthew Stamzel (baritone sax, piano), Tyler VanderZanden (bass), and Jas Voetz (drums).
