UWFox Chorale and Jazz Ensemble to Perform in Concert

The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley’s Chorale and Jazz Ensemble are performing together on Sunday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Perry Hall inside the campus’ Communication Arts Center.
The 29-member UWFox Chorale will perform a number of vocal arrangements, including “Bonzorno Madonna,” “Come You Who Are Filled,” and “Ahe Lau Makani,” with accompaniment by UWFox faculty member Lynda Zimmerman and Mike Mankoske.
The Chorale’s performance of, “A Little Jazz Mass,” has five movements, and will feature tenor solo Cal Christenson, with Adam Hatton on percussion.
The 10-member Jazz Ensemble will play, “Sonny Moon for Two,” “Blue Bossa,” “So What,” “Now’s the Time, and “Watermelon Man.
Cara Davis, associate lecturer in Music and chorale director, is conducting the Chorale. Marc Sackman, associate professor of Music and director of bands, is directing the Jazz Ensemble.
