Looking for that perfect holiday gift for someone special…or a special gift for someone who has everything…that tough-to-buy-for person? The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley’s Office of Continuing Education is offering a wonderful opportunity to see “Jersey Boys,” a Broadway-in-Chicago experience scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m.
“Jersey Boys,” winner of numerous Tony Awards, including Best Musical, chronicles the story of how four blue collar kids - Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi - became one of the greatest successes in pop music history: The Four Seasons.
They wrote their own songs, invented their own sound and sold 1.75 million records worldwide - all before they were 30 years old! The show features many of their hit songs, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”
The $179.00 per person fee includes round-trip motor coach transportation from UWFox to downtown Chicago, mezzanine seating for the matinee performance at the LaSalle Bank Theatre, and an evening meal at Old Country Buffet on the way home.
Registrations are being taken online, by mail, by phone or in person. For more information, call the UWFox Office of Continuing Education, 920-832-2636 or visit www.uwfox.uwc.edu/conted/ and click online registration.
