The magic of math will be on display when Dr. Younis Zaidan, assistant professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, presents “Mathemagics” on Tuesday, March 30, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the campus Union. Zaidan will be showcasing various magic tricks that involve his knowledge and expertise in math.

According to Brenda Gabrielson, advisor in Student Services, “This is a great opportunity for the faculty, staff and students to get together for an entertaining and informative session. We’ll also have small prizes, like UWFox bags and clocks, to give away.”

While the session is open to the public, it’s primarily targeted at the campus community. Pre-registration is not required. Seating for the event is open and unreserved.
