UWFox Announces New Faculty Members

The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley has announced the appointments of several new faculty members beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year.
Dr. Teresa Weglarz is now Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences. In 2004 Weglarz began her career at UWFox as a Senior Lecturer. She earned her B.S. from the Lymann Briggs College of Natural Science at Michigan State University, and received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology from UW-Madison.
Jill Halverson has been appointed Assistant Professor of Business. Halverson had been a Lecturer in Business at UWFox since 2009. She received her Associate of Arts and Science Degree from UW-Fond du Lac, and went on to earn her B.S. in Sociology and her M.B.A. from UW Oshkosh. She has received a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communication from Concordia University (WI) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Dr. Michael McFall has been named Assistant Professor of Philosophy. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Ashland University (Ashland, OH), and received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Syracuse University. He served as a Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University, a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow at Stanford University and a Visiting Instructor at Bowling Green State University.
With approximately 1,800 students enrolled at its Menasha campus, UWFox is one of the 13 campuses that comprise the UW Colleges, and is one of the 26 campuses in the UW System. While specializing in the freshman-sophomore liberal arts curriculum, UWFox also offers bachelor’s degrees in six different academic majors.
