High school students interested in exploring the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley in Menasha, one of the state's 13 two-year college campuses that comprise the UW Colleges, are invited to attend the 2005 Fall Preview Day on Friday, November 4. The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon and includes a campus tour; a welcome from the dean, Dr. Jim Perry; a faculty/student panel discussion and a show in the Barlow Planetarium. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend a college class or break out into special interest sessions on ensuring academic success; science, health and medical careers at UWFox; or engineering degrees offered through UW-Platteville on the FOX campus.
Ted DuFour, student services coordinator at UW-Fox Valley, will facilitate the preview day. "Because our preview day includes so many events involving campus life at UW Fox Valley, it is the best venue for discovering what we’re all about. A highlight of the day is having our students and faculty discuss the opportunities we provide to ensure that students meet their educational and life goals." Reservations are requested and can be made by calling (920) 832-2620 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
