The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is hosting two nights of information sessions for adults that are interested in returning to college, starting college, or getting information about transferring to another college. The sessions are scheduled for Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
“These sessions will give returning adult students the opportunity start or continue their college education, to learn how to afford their college education, to earn their degree in the evening, and to register for Fall 2003,” according to UWFox’s Adult Student Services Advisor, Jill Gordee.
“By attending the ‘Return to Learn’ session, an individual can examine the opportunity to explore some of the featured degrees on UWFox, that include the Associate of Arts and Sciences (through UWFox), the Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Organizational Administration (through UW Oshkosh), the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (through UW-Platteville), and the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management (through UW-Stout).
“As a returning adult student on UWFox’s campus a student can expect to receive personalized attention in the classroom since we have an average class size of 28 students. Our students can also attend class in the evenings, receive free tutoring in English, Math, and other subjects in our Learning Center, and feel comfortable knowing that more than 34% of our students on campus are returning adult students,” Gordee explains.
Interested individuals should contact the UWFox Office of Student Services at (920) 832-2620 to set up an individual appointment on Monday May 19, 2003 or Tuesday May 20, 2003 evening starting at 3:30 p.m.
