UW-Fox Valley Hosts Entertainer Romont Harris

The University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is the host venue for energetic performer Romont Harris, when he performs Wednesday, January 30, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Student Union on the Menasha campus.

Harris presents a "well rounded show of comedy, song and dance," and has been called a "supreme entertainer." He has appeared on numerous national television shows, including the "Jerry Lewis MD Telethon," the syndicated game show "Love Connection," "It's Showtime at the Apollo," BET's "Comic View," and others.

Harris has been the opening act for many famous musical and celebrity acts, including Martin Lawrence, Sinbad, Chris Rock, Spyro Gyra, Morris Day and the Time, and Ice Cube.

He is a veteran of college campus tours and famous comedy venues around the country. Harris is also noted for dedicating some of his personal time to youth and drug prevention programs in and around his hometown of Philadelphia.
