The Weis Earth Science Museum and the Barlow Planetarium are offering a
special Summer Science Adventure program for daycare groups, youth groups,
and summer camps. Children from pre-school on up will spend two hours enjoying
an exciting hands-on tour at the museum and a thrilling planetarium show, for
just $5 per child. The program is scheduled at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m.,
and 1:00 p.m. on weekdays in June, July and August. The program can be tailored to
children’s ages.
Kids will rocket into space, ride a roller coaster, and visit a black hole at the Barlow. At the Museum, they can create a “quake,” make it thunder and rain, and discover dinosaurs.
The Weis Earth Science Museum, the state's official mineralogical museum, and the Barlow Planetarium are located on the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley campus in Menasha. Free parking is available. For more information, visit www.weismuseum.org or www.barlowplanetarium.org, or to make a reservation, call 920-832-2848.
