Wisconsin Space Academy
Wisconsin Space Academy is the Barlow Planetarium's summer camp. Our Cadets learn about astronomy and rocketry in this week-long, half-day camp. Cadets create and present their own planetarium show as well as launch rockets that they build during the camp.
Wisconsin Space Academy is designed for students entering grades 4 through 8. More information about Wisconsin Space Academy.
Weis Earth Science Museum
Painted Pebbles: The Art of Susan Robinson
The exhibit runs from June 15 through September 15 in the evolving gallery at the WESM. Check Weis Earth Science Museum Web site for the museum hours and admission fees.
Wisconsin Earth Adventure
Summer camp for grades 4-6 at the Weis Earth Science Museum, Wisconsin's official mineralogical museum in Menasha, WI.
- June 20-24, 1-4 pm
- July 11-15, 1-4 pm
- July 18-22, 9am-noon
- July 25-29, 9 am-noon

Continuing Education Summer Youth Enrichment Programs
“College For Kids,” now in its seventh year, is scheduled for the week of July 11 – 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. with activities designed for students entering grades 3 – 6 in 2005.
“Sports for Kids” offers coed volleyball for the week of July 11 – 15, from 9:00 a.m. to noon for students entering 5 – 8 in 2005. Coed basketball is offered during the week of July 18-21, from 9:00 a.m to noon for students entering Kindergarten – second grade in 2005. Coed baseball is on the agenda for the week of July 25 – 28, from 9:00 a.m to noon for students entering grades 3 – 5 in 2005.
“Middle School University” is designed for students entering grades 6 – 8 in 2005, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. during the week of July 25 – 29.
“MindStorms Mission™” is another program for students entering grades 6 through 8 in 2005, with various sessions based on skill levels and experience available throughout the summer.
“Grandparents’ University at UWFox,” a program that pairs children between the ages of 7 – 14 in activities with a grandparent, is offered on August 4 and 5.
