UWFox Presents Fox Valley Concert Band Winter Concert

The Fox Valley Concert Band, composed of University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley students, alumni and Fox Valley residents, will present its winter concert on Sunday, March 12, at 4 p.m. The concert will be held in the UWFox Fine Arts Theatre located on the university’s campus at 1478 Midway Road in Menasha. The concert is free and open to the public.
Under
the direction of Dr. Marc Sackman, UWFox assistant professor of
music and director of bands, the concert band will perform the “Saxophone
Concerto” of Henk Badings with Steven Jordheim, Professor
of Saxophone at the Lawrence Conservatory of Music. Also on the
program are the "Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor" by
J.S. Bach, "American Overture" by Jos. Jenkins, “Serenade,
op. 22c,” by D. Bourgeois, “”Amparito Roca,”
by Jaime Texidor, and “National Emblem,” by E.E. Bagley.
